THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM
SOUTH KENSINGTON
As one of London’s most iconic venues, the Natural History Museum can hold civil marriages and civil partnerships in 12 of its impressive galleries. These spaces can be used for ceremonies, reception-only celebrations or both.
Hintze Hall is the largest and arguably the most impressive space within the museum, which can seat up to 450 guests for a ceremony and wedding breakfast. With its stunning Victorian architecture and soaring arches, it provides the most magnificent backdrop for exclusive weddings and celebrations.
With smaller, more intimate spaces like Images of Nature and North Hall, the NHM is as versatile as it is iconic and can work for weddings and celebrations of all shapes and sizes.
KENSINGTON PALACE, KENSINGTON
Home to their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Kensington Palace has been a main residence of the Royal Family since the 17th Century, and remains one of the most important historical buildings in London, if not the world. From the splendid grandeur of the State Rooms, which can host up to 150 guests for a ceremony, to the contemporary style of Pavilion which is a beautiful blank canvas, enabling the highest level of creativity to produce high end weddings.. With glass walls, endless natural daylight and gorgeous views of the manicured grounds, the Pavilion at Kensington Palace has it all.
The Orangery is also an idyllic space for weddings and celebrations but is currently closed until 2022.
To marry on the lawns is to be one of a select few. Marquee events are possible but they do require special permission from the Royal Household. We can take care of every detail of your special day at Kensington Palace, and as luxury wedding planners we take pride in every detail.
WALLACE COLLECTION
Located in the heart of the West End, close to Oxford Street, The Wallace Collection is a stunning house and museum with a world famous collection of paintings, sculpture, furniture and arms and armour, but the house is also available to hire for the most exclusive receptions, wedding celebrations and parties. Old world glamour meets modern London in decadent and stylish surroundings, there really is no place quite like it!
Celebrate your blessing, reception or wedding breakfast in the opulent Great Gallery and dine and dance in the heart of the house, which can accommodate up to 150 guests for a formal dinner dance. Having worked at this venue many times, we know how to transform the space beautifully to create the perfect venue for your wedding celebrations.
BANQUETING HALL, WHITEHALL
The magnificent Banqueting House, a historic Royal palace, was created and styled purely for entertaining, and has dazzled revellers and guests of the monarch since the early 17th century. An architectural and artistic masterpiece with timeless majesty and precious links to the past. There are two main spaces, the Main Hall-influenced by classical buildings of ancient Rome and 16th century Italy and the most glorious backdrop for your celebrations. This space can hold up to 400 guests for a civil ceremony or reception. With the grand sweeping staircase leading up to this space, the glittering chandeliers and magnificent pillars, the main hall is a wonder to behold.
The Undercroft lies below the Main Hall, originally enjoyed as a drinking den for James 1 and his party loving courtiers, this space is a wonderfully atmospheric, charming, vaulted space. Perfect for a civil ceremony for up to 150 guests or reception for up to 250 guests, depending on your requirements. As a London based wedding planner, we have worked at this venue many times and relish in creating those special moments here, which isn’t too hard as it is one of the most beautiful venues in London.
KEW GARDENS, KEW
The iconic and very beautiful setting of Kew Gardens is a dream wedding location. Exchange your vows in the Nash Conservatory, an enchanting 19th century glasshouse. With a capacity of up to 200 guests for a civil ceremony and floor to ceiling windows on three sides, this stunning glasshouse provides an abundance of natural daylight, filling the space with a warm and inviting glow, all year round.
The Princess of Wales conservatory is perfect for drinks. This is a unique and special place as it has ten climate zones. If the weather is nice, then your guests can enjoy drinks on the private lawn behind the conservatory.
The stunning Orangery will host your guests for more celebrations into the night. A Grade 1 listed building, it is an ideal setting with high ceilings, and grand, arched walls-a great place to party.
As luxury London wedding planners, we have created wonderful memories for our clients at Kew Gardens, and we love the fact that we can be really creative here, whilst encompassing the abundant and beautiful natural surroundings of this unique and special place.
ONE MARYLEBONE, MARYLEBONE
Situated just moments from Regent’s Park, One Marylebone is the epitome of romance, the perfect setting for the most stylish ceremony and reception. Built in 1826 on it’s own ‘island’ and designed by Sir John Stone, the venue was lovingly restored and now offers one of the most exquisite backdrops for wedding ceremonies and dinners in central London.
With two stunning contrasting floors offering two types of space. The Soane Hall is the jewel in the crown of One Marylebone. At over 27 feet in height, the prestigious space is both impressive in size and beauty. Opulent mosaics and stained glass windows evoke everlasting elegance.
