The Feathers Animal Ball

THE BRIEF

We worked with one of our charity clients to create a completely brand new charity event that would captivate the party scene and become the ‘must attend’ of the summer season. We wanted to create something that would flip the standard charity ball concept completely on it’s head and create an evening of unforgettable fun and entertainment in a world class venue.

 OUR APPROACH

Our creative concept was based around bringing the natural world to life with hints of luxury, with a focus on sustainability and a powerful message behind the glamour of protecting our planet, and so, The Feathers Animal Ball was born.

There was only one choice for the perfect venue, it had to be the Natural History Museum. With it’s focus as a charity on the environment and the world around us, it was the ideal fit. The venue is also one of the most beautiful spaces in London, if not the world,  so it was the ideal space to host this special inaugural charity ball.

We worked with our talented suppliers to create an incredible evening where guests sipped glorious Orange Blossom and Jasmine cocktails before taking their seats underneath Hope The Whale for a sumptuous plant based dinner-Beetroot carpaccio, soused fennel, vegan feta, pumpkin seed praline and rhubarb ketchup for the starter course, a Butternut Squash focused main course and an incredible dessert of Strawberry, Meringue and lemon-the perfect menu for our Summer soiree with a key focus on sustainability.

The incredible Leona Lewis performed a 30 minute concert for our guests The Birmingham Royal Ballet performed the finale of their award winning ballet, Still Life at the Penguin Café. Marvin Humes was our DJ for the evening and he made sure that everyone was on their feet dancing the night away.
