26 Leake Street Christmas Party

THE BRIEF

Our brief was to come up with a venue away from the usual, more formal choices made by this client for their annual client reception. They wanted something that would surprise guests but in a good way. Something unique, urban and exciting. We knew just the place.

OUR APPROACH

26 Leake Street is a fantastic event space located underneath Waterloo station. With an exciting guest entrance walking through the famous ‘Banksy Tunnel’ where street artists from all over the world come to express themselves and create amazing artworks, guests were in awe before they even arrived to the entrance.

We transformed the tunnels into a warm an opulent reception space, creating cosy nooks with beautiful velvet furniture and swathes of golden colour enhanced the exposed brickwork and arches to create a really warm feel for guests.

We worked with one of our favourite florists, Larry Walshe, to create a bespoke 20ft high Christmas tree, decorated in stunning colours and we worked with our favourite street food caterer, KERB, to create a bespoke street food ‘market’ where guests could order from a delicious array of freshly cooked food bursting with flavour.

CLIENT FEEDBACK

‘Ebony was instrumental in helping the firm transition its largest event from a corporate/formal setting to something more unique and relaxed, which has involved extensive research on unique London venues accommodating up to 650 guests. Ebony truly takes the time to understand her client’s brief and is not afraid to make recommendations on how an event could be improved. On the night, Ebony has always ensured every element of our event runs smoothly we would be lost without her support.
